California is planning to put in place policies that will result in 1 million plug-in vehicle sales by 2020, while making 1/3 of the state's power green.
So, how does California go from 200,000 hybrid cars to 1 million plug-in vehicles in even less time, powered significantly by green energy?
New measures being developed by the Air Resource Board, it seems, will require automakers and utilities to achieve such levels of production.
Nevertheless, considering that such change will not be cheap, it will be very interesting to learn how ARB plans to fund this program. Stay tuned.
