Execs at Smucker’s, Exel promise to do better by drivers

Truckers across the country have been outraged about the treatment of some truckers who were refused entry into an Exel-managed warehouse in Cincinnati, OH, during 81-mph winds as tornado sirens blared on Tuesday, Oct. 26. On Friday, executives from both Exel and J.M. Smucker Co. promised to do better by drivers the next time there is severe weather at one of their facilities.
