A bureaucracy inside the Department of Transportation has piled up a complex set of sleep and stop rules on truckers so high that it’s killing their wages, increasing the costs of moving freight around the country , and may just be making our roads more dangerous, not less – forcing drivers to drive when they’re tired, and sleep when they’re alert.
