Trump’s USMCA trade pact retains cross-border trucking program, expected to bolster freight demand

President Donald Trump's newly minted trade pact with Canada and Mexico, dubbed the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, is mostly seen as a boon for cross-border truck freight movement. But the deal does retain the cross-border trucking program that allows Mexican carriers to obtain U.S. authority.
