Plans to build and toll a new Interstate 5 bridge spanning the Columbia River between Portland, OR, and Vancouver, WA, are moving forward, but there’s still time to for highway users to comment. According to a bistate panel in a 2010 report, many commuters and truckers disapprove of tolling as a funding source for the bridge, but officials continue to push the plan.
