If the past two weeks are any indication, it’s going to be a rough spring for anyone buying diesel fuel. The national average has topped $3.87 a gallon for the week ending Monday, March 7, and some areas are already averaging above $4. Oil prices, meanwhile, have hit a two-and-a-half year high.
