Mark Webber very nearly drove his Red Bull RB6 to the 2010 Formula 1 world championship last year – barely losing out to his teammate Sebastian Vettel in the final round of the series.  This year, Mark and Sebastian are considered the early favorites, and their new car, the Adrian Newey designed RB7, is the biggest reason why.

Red Bull has produced the video above to show off the new RB7′s KERS system and slick new adjustable rear wing (which – thanks to a new-for-2011 rules change – is now allowed for use in designated “overtaking zones”), with Mark Webber narrating.

If you’ve been following the attempts to “green-up” Formula 1 with new hybrid systems and talk of sustainability and improved efficiency in the sport’s infrastructure, you won’t want to miss this.  Enjoy!
