After months of trying to convince FedEx Freight drivers in Middletown, Pennsylvania to join the Teamsters, the union withdrew the election petition on Thursday, the day before vote. However, all indications are a vote by workers at the FedEx Freight’s South Brunswick, New Jersey, terminal was still set to happen on Friday, Oct 31. FedEx contends the union would only take this action of canceling the vote if it recognized it would not win.
