A truck driver was airlifted to hospital this morning after falling from his truck at a remote forest in the Central plateau. The logging truck driver, a Marton resident in his 50s, suffered serious leg injuries after falling from his truck at a truck park in the Karioi Forest, between Whanganui and Taihape, at 10.30am.
