The truck drivers were expected to validate their union authorization cards, opening the door for the International Brotherhood of Teamster to negotiate a contract on their behalf. Drivers from Shippers Transport Express will be joined by union, city and community leaders as well as Shippers Transport’s General Manager Kevin Baddeley in a press conference at Banning’s Landing Community Center in Wilmington to announce the results of a neutral union election.
