A 39-year-old Romanian truck driver was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Tuesday after a Thessaloniki court found him guilty of a road accident that killed six people and injured another 31 on the Egnatia Highway near Veria, in northern Greece. The 39-year-old was behind the wheel of a truck that plowed into dozens of vehicles on a downhill stretch of the highway last October.
