Hanjin Shipping and Hapag-Lloyd dropped Portland service after work slowdowns led to long lines of trucks and long turnaround times for loading and unloading ships. The Keep Oregon Trade Moving series of workshops was launched to find solutions to shipping problems created when two major container-shipping lines stopped serving the Port of Portland.
