A gang of unidentified men, armed with knives and iron rods, robbed a trailer truck driver of cash and mobile phone in front of Tinplate Company’s warehouse on NH-33, near Jamshedpur, in the wee hours of Wednesday, prompting transporters to demand night patrolling on rogue roads. Driver Shankar Pal , who sustained head and shoulder injuries in the attack, is being treated in the intensive care unit of a private nursing home in Mango.
