A Guyanese man, who works as a truck driver in New York, was yesterday ordered to compensate a man after he was read wounding charges. Darren Chowti, who is currently staying at Lot 7 Richmond Hill, Leguan but lives in New York City, had an unlawful wounding charge read to him by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan.
