It wasn’t much snow, but the light fluffy powder combined with a cold conditions made for brutal driving conditions Monday night. In Waterbury, it was particularly nasty, with the hills and turns on Interstate 84. About an inch of snow coated black ice making it difficult for drivers to stay in their lanes.
