A state tax auditor who turned up missing after an appointment with a long-haul trucker was shot in the back of the head, dismembered and dumped in an Eastern Washington ditch, according to court documents. Prosecutors in Lincoln County filed the documents to support the first-degree murder charge they filed yesterday against Ralph H. Benson , the truck driver.
