A truck driver was killed after slamming into a big-rig Tuesday morning on Interstate 880 in Hayward, California Highway Patrol officials said. The driver of a box truck slammed into the semi-truck hauling granite around 1:40 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway just south of Industrial Parkway, the CHP said.
