IN REPLY to Dan Oldfields column , I take offence at his disdainful comment about how Roy Romanow once “lost to a 20-something woman who worked pumping gas.” Having grown up fatherless since age 10 and feeling like being from wrong side of tracks, and then becoming just a truck driver, reading this comment from an elitist liberal reminded me of another comment: “God must love the common man.
