Daimler Vans USA is recalling 17,501 2003- to 2006-model year Dodge and Freightliner Sprinter 2500 and 3500 vans to address an instrument cluster issue, according to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration. In these vehicles, the instrument cluster may fail to illuminate the brake warning lamp during the vehicle startup bulb-function check.
