Turn down sleep apnea noise machine — quantum-leap logic and unnecessary rigmarole are not in interest of safety

NASTC President David Owen on the recently renewed push for more closely defined treatment of sleep apnea in medical certifications: “There are so many willing to make the quantum leap directly from the likelihood of … sleep apnea to an unsafe, falling-asleep driver. It’s a lawyer’s dream that criminalizes too many.”
