Local roads and bridges throughout South Dakota will soon start benefiting from $31 million in additional revenue to pay for repairs. The Legislature voted to override a veto from Gov. Dennis Daugaard to authorize an increase in certain vehicle registration fees to pay for improvements. Large trucks are exempt from the fee increase.
