Ricardo has signed a strategic cooperation Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China’s Great Wall Motor Company to work together on a range of new products.
The collaboration with Ricardo builds upon Great Wall Motor Company’s stated “3-high” strategy, through which the leading Chinese automaker aims to deliver a range of products featuring high levels of performance, luxury and technology. Among the first product programs to benefit from this collaboration with Ricardo will be powertrain products including an advanced
technology gasoline engine and 6-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT).
The MoU between the
companies was signed by Chairman Wei Jianjun of Great Wall Motor Company and Ricardo CEO Dave
Shemmans.
