A bad driving decision could soon cost travelers in North Dakota quite a bit more than mere pocket change. The House voted 60-34 on Tuesday, March 29, to advance a bill that would authorize tougher penalties for drivers who use roads closed due to harsh weather. The Highway Patrol budget is also moving forward at the statehouse.
