It may soon be easier when it comes to getting container chassis for trucks and using them at the East Coast’s busiest port. The Journal of Commerce reports an agreement has been reached agreed on a plan creating a “gray” chassis pool that would allow truckers to freely interchange chassis throughout the Port of New York and New Jersey as soon as early next year.
