Navistar International Corporation will close its foundry operations in Indianapolis, Indiana, where it currently produces engine blocks and heads for its proprietary engines. In an announcement today, the company said it will source these components from the “supply base,” giving no indication where the cast components would be produced once the foundry is shuttered.
