A Florida truck driver faces a possible life sentence after a federal jury convicted him of kidnapping and interstate domestic violence. The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Miami reported Monday that 47-year-old Timothy John Miers has become the first individual charged with domestic violence in federal court in South Florida.
