Clinton Blackburn, a truck driver who broke a chokehold a prisoner had on jailer Darrell Herndon in his cruiser and later got the jailer’s gun away from the prisoner, was named the 32nd Goodyear Highway Hero today at the Mid-America Trucking Show under way here. “I didn’t feel anything” during the experience, recalled Blackburn – not even fear.
