A CSX freight train smashed into a semi hauling an exotic McLaren sports car Friday after the driver told a Clay County 911 operator he heard the approaching train’s blaring horn and jumped out just in time. The horn of the train can be heard on the frantic emergency call made about 8 a.m. from a rail crossing on Greenridge Road near Doctors Lake Road.
