Guwahati, April 23 : The vigilance and anti-corruption wing of Assam police today interrogated four transport department officials in connection with illegal collection of money from a truck driver. The four officials – enforcement inspector of transport department Bapon Kalita, assistant enforcement inspectors Rajen Baishya and Makshed Ali and enforcement checker Sanjib Talukdar – were questioned at the office of the vigilance and anti-corruption here for several hours.
