For the third time in nearly seven months, maritime stakeholders gathered in Norfolk for a brainstorming session focused on the issue of port congestion. The event on Thursday at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott – called “Curbing Congestion: How Do We Get There From Here?” – was attended by nearly 400 people, including national executives representing ocean carriers, shippers, trucking firms and railroads.
