A Fresno law firm says it has scored a major legal ruling against Wal-Mart that could cost the retail giant more than $100 million in connection with a federal class-action lawsuit that affects hundreds of truckers in California. U.S. District Court Judge Susan Illston in San Francisco has ruled that Wal-Mart violated California’s minimum wage law when it failed to pay its drivers for all the tasks they do.
