Carrara, July 15 – A 53-year-old crane operator allegedly bit off part of a 48-year-old truck driver’s nose on Wednesday during an argument over the loading of a block of marble in Massa Carrara, a province known worldwide for its marble quarries. Police say the argument erupted when the two men disagreed over the exact positioning of the block of marble to be loaded onto the truck.
