The Sheriff’s Department is investigating claims of assault between a trucker and a resident in Twentynine Palms early Wednesday morning. According to Sheriff reports, a big rig truck driver and another man were at a gas station in the 73900 block of 29 Palms Highway about 3:45 a.m. an argument erupted when the resident said the truck driver parked his truck in front of him, blocking his vehicle in the parking lot.
