A village resident who makes a living as a truck driver pleaded with council on Monday to not take up a fellow councilman’s suggestion that tractor-trailers be banned from parking in town. Walter Mead of East Main Street said that of the roughly four years he has been on the road he only recently began traveling locally, and urged council to consider the plight other semi drivers are faced with each day.
