The college was awarded almost $200,000 from the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, according to a TCC news release. The grant will train veterans and their spouses for the truck and bus driving industry, “one of the highest demand industries” in Hampton Roads, officials said in the statement.
