In these dark, early days of December, Monte Marlin, a truck driver with Lynn Herbet Lowboy, is once again taking hours out of his day to lasso Christmas lights around the trailer of his semi-truck. It’s the 19th year he’s decorated his truck for the D.R. Johnson Memorial Timber Truckers’ Light Parade, a process worth about 40 man-hours, he estimates.
