A California truck driver is being held without bond at New River Valley Regional Jail on charges he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman inside a restroom at a Wythe County truck stop. According to a search warrant on file in Pulaski County Circuit Court clerk’s office, Jose Angel Alvarez was arrested Feb. 26 on felony charges of sexual assault and abduction and misdemeanor simple assault.
