The first quarter earnings reporting season got underway in trucking on Monday, as J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. posted 8.9% higher profits from a year earlier on 6% more revenue, led by logistics and dedicated segments. Net earnings totaled $100.1 million as revenue increased to $1.53 billion.
