Apart from the main carriageways into Ballarat, VicRoads oversees other arterial routes such as Howitt, Norman and Gillies streets, Main Road and Wiltshire Lane: roads that are wearing the brunt of heavy traffic including truck driver training courses and increased B-double movement . Operations manager Brad Pryor said VicRoads and the City of Ballarat were independently responsible for their respective roads in Ballarat.
