Decatur resident Stephen Richardson, of Big G Express, was one of 20 professional truck drivers selected as a 2017-18 Captain for America's Road Team in Arlington, Virginia, on Jan. 10. The final round of the selection process for America's Road Team was Jan. 8-10 in Arlington. A panel of industry officials and trucking news media members judged the finalists on their knowledge of the trucking industry, dedication to safety, ability to communicate the industry's messages and overall safe driving record.
