Tractor-trailer drivers who drive on Route 93 through Nesquehoning to deliver their products or loads will soon have a longer ride. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has announced the results of its study regarding Route 93 and the Broad Mountain, the site of three rig crashes in a three-day period early last year, which show that a detour to help prevent further crashes from occurring is needed.
