A. Unfortunately, no this single ELD user account cannot be authorized for both functions. Each driver should have one account that allows him or her to perform driver-related functions, including logging his or her hours of service (HOS) and another one for administrative functions.
For example, if the driver is also the owner of the company, he or she would need a single account as a driver and a separate account to handle administrative functions. Separate accounts can be created on the ELD or the ELD support system.
