A. Yes, there are two categories that can be supplied electronically: electronic mobile communications and payroll records. These records may be part of a larger document that the carrier retains electronically or physically at the dispatch location or the company’s principal place of business.
And, while electronic, these documents will also be counted—along with physical records—as part of the daily eight-document limit. In the case of an electronic mobile communication record, every message will be counted as belonging to a single communication document and not as multiple documents for that day.
