Retail diesel prices in the U.S. have dropped more than 50 cents since mid-January. That quick decline is a result of a decreased demand for fuel due to the coronavirus pandemic, as well as an oil “price war” between Saudi Arabia and Russia that has caused global crude oil prices to plummet.
