Tax overhaul expands bonus depreciation to used equipment
The tax overhaul enacted in December now allows so-called bonus depreciation for used truck purchases. But the law also requires buyers to expense the assets in the year they bought them, rather than taking depreciation benefits over a multi-year period.
Michigan, Arizona prepping for interstate construction projects on I-94, I-10
Shoulder closures and some single lane closures will take place on weekdays on I-94 in Michigan February through May, followed by a construction project through fall 2019. I-10 will be closed in Arizona near Phoenix on some weekends beginning Jan. 26.
