There’s a big demand for commercial truck drivers, in spite of the slowdown in the oil industry in recent years. Del Mar College’s commercial truck driver training classes have put a big number of graduates to work across the Coastal Bend.

Hayden area crash kills Coeur d’Alene trucker

Crews with the Idaho Transportation Department remove tree limbs from an overturned tanker truck full of raw sewage on Wednesday on the northbound, right-hand shoulder of Highway 95, just north of Lancaster Road. The 53-year-old driver, Rock Gabbard of Coeur d’Alene, drifted off the road while driving northbound around 9:15 a.m. Gabbard died on scene.

Laskowski to succeed Bradley as head of CTA in 2018
