TA ‘Band Together’ for St. Chrisropher fund campaign extended through Sept. 9

The TravelCenters of America’s annual “Band Together” fundraising campaign for the St. Christopher Truckers Development and Relief Fund will be extended until September 9. As part of the campaign, guests and employees at TA and Petro Stopping Centers are invited to make donations to the St. Christopher Fund , a nonprofit organization that helps truck drivers whose medical problems have led to financial hardship. Also, TravelCenters of America has previously partnered with Blue Tiger USA to benefit the St. Christopher Truckers Development and Relief Fund with a portion of the proceeds from sales of specially designed Blue Tiger Elite headsets.

Commercial Vehicle-to-Grid Hub Installed in Denmark

A fully commercial vehicle-to-grid hub is now operating in Denmark, a result of a collaboration between global automotive manufacturer Nissan, multinational energy company and smart grid technologies companies Enel, and California-based company Nuvve, a V2G services provider. The grid’s first customer, utility Frederiksberg Forsyning has installed 10 Enel V2G units and purchased 10 zero emission, 100 percent electric Nissan e-NV200 vans that will join the company’s fleet, at its headquarters in Copenhagen.
